you really do glow

I know it is cliche to say that a pregnant mother glows, but after capturing so many I can tell you it's true. This is such a fleeting time in a woman's life and I feel like it deserves to be documented.

The number one comment I receive during a newborn session is that she regretted not having a maternity session done.

"I felt huge and didn't think I'd like the pictures, but now I wish I had something to look back on and tell that part of the story."

For a maternity session we aim to capture the time between 31-35 weeks gestation. Usually earlier for twins. We want you to have a nice little bump but not too heavily pregnant where you are uncomfortable or risk early labor and missing the session. Scheduling in advance is key as my calendar fills up and if you need a weekend we usually need to book 6-8 weeks out. Just ask and see what is available.

I love all things light, airy and natural so my style lends towards my all white studio or a beautiful park or the beach in the summer. If you'd like we can do a combination of studio and park to get a few different looks. The whole family is welcome to participate in the session. If you would like to see entire galleries of a session just ask. I'm happy to share. 

My pricing is "all inclusive" so that means you get the session as well as the fully edited digital images with a print release. No picking and choosing your favorites (you get them all). At this time, I only capture maternity sessions for those who have booked a newborn session with me. 

One thing you will learn about me is that I have a small addiction to shopping for my studio closet. It is ever expanding (thank you Facebook ads). I carry a large assortment of dresses/gowns in neutral colors that will photograph beautifully. I also carry children's clothes 12m-6T in both boys and girls. This works well for the newborn session too. We can schedule a time for you to come try on dresses to see what will work for your session so you don't have to worry about ordering something you'll likely only wear once.
