capturing your connection

I'm not a formal posing photographer. I don't think you can really expect a 2 year old to be on board with that either. I love watching families interact. I love smiles so big they scrunch noses, lots of laughter and having fun.

I don't want you to dread a family session. I want to take away all the stress of what to wear, (did you see my client closet?) if the kids will behave, (they will be fine) and the weather, (okay I can't do anything about that).

I have been capturing some families for the past 13 years and watching the kids grow before my lens has been the greatest honor. Most of the kids you see in the gallery below I've captured as a newborn.

Don't let the fact that the session lasts 60-90mins scare you. We aren't posing and shooting that whole time. I allot time for playing, snacking, chatting and moving locations.

I have VERY limited availability during the months of October and November for full family sessions. If you would like to book during that time it is best to do so as soon as possible.

Beach sessions are usually held April-September at sunset (7:30-9pm) during the week (weekends are too crowded at the beach for pretty pictures).
